Daniel Fernandes

Daniel Fernandes is an Indian stand-up comedian who was born on August 2, 1984. Fernandes, a Mumbai native, is renowned for his dark, bizarre comedy that often makes allusions to Indian social issues. Fernandes, who is based in Mumbai, frequently appears at comedic venues such as Blue Frog, High Spirits, The Comedy Store, and Canvas Laugh Club. Fernandes is well-known for discussing Indian societal concerns in his comedy material and interviews, including as marital rape, suicide among students, free speech, and the death sentence. He worked alongside Gursimran Khamba, Aditi Mittal, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Sundeep Rao, Radhika Vaz, Abish Mathew, and Kanan Gill, among other Indian stand-up comedians.
