De:Vision

German synth-pop trio De/Vision was founded in 1988. Markus Ganssert, Stefan Blender, Steffen Keth, and Thomas Adam formed the band as a quartet in the beginning. Ganssert left the group in 2000, and Blender left in 1991. A word play is the basis for the name De/Vision[citation needed]. The band has recorded several songs in German, although the majority of its lyrics are in English. ‘Green Court starring De/Vision’ was a side project that Keth launched in 2000 while serving as Green Court’s vocalist. The remaining band members, Keth and Adam, were then signed to Dancing Ferret Discs in North America, Sony BMG in Europe, and Drakkar Records in Europe. In North America, Metropolis Records is currently home to the band. The group has issued albums since 1994.
